3rd Annual Elation Pony Event, Haunted?

For each of the past three years, Elation Real Estate, in partnership with Maddox Family Farm, has hosted a free Pony Ride event.  The event is an opportunity for clients, family, and friends to visit the stables, meet the horses, feed them apples and carrots, and even go for a ride around the barn.  It is a fun time had by all, including the horses.

But this year, it was a little different. 

There was something strange in our neighborhood. 

There was something weird, and it didn't look good.

But we ain't afraid of no ghost…. so we didn’t have to call the Ghostbusters!

As children lined up, dressed as superheroes, princesses, and various spooky creatures, the anticipation was contagious. With each pony ride, giggles echoed throughout the stables. The volunteer handlers guided the ponies in gentle circles around the barn, teaching them about the majestic creatures along the way. Watching the kids’ faces beam with joy as they rode was a heartwarming reminder of the simple pleasures in life and why we love this event so much.

Festive Activities for Everyone

While the pony rides were undoubtedly the highlight of the day, we wanted to ensure there was something for everyone. Along with the pony rides, we organized a variety of fun activities and games for the kids. And we allowed the kids, and adults alike, the opportunity to feed the horses.  We are not sure who enjoyed it more!

Building Community

The underlying motivation behind this event, and basically all events like this sponsored by Elation, is the desire to strengthen our community ties. Many of our clients brought friends and family along, creating an atmosphere of togetherness. Clients, family, and friends were not just chatting about business, but more importantly about their children’s experiences on the ponies and their favorite Halloween costumes. Truly a site to see!
