With over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, California native Shawn Farrell has a long record of successfully guiding first-time and experienced buyers through all facets of the real estate process. A Pleasanton resident for nearly four decades, Shawn offers in-depth knowledge of the Tri-Valley region and greater Bay Area market, which has proven invaluable when helping clients find and purchase their dream home. Shawn is passionate about doing right by his clients, from listening to their needs to going above and beyond in helping them achieve their real estate goals.
Before becoming an agent, Shawn spent five years in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he was extensively involved in search and rescue and maritime law enforcement while stationed at two of the Bay Area’s busiest units. He followed with a 12-year career in the mortgage banking industry and worked for several years as a licensed appraiser, gaining valuable analytical skills and expertise in determining the value of a property. In his current role, Shawn is involved in every aspect of the business, from marketing and advertising efforts to showing featured properties to overseeing all property repair-related activities.
He appreciates all the natural beauty the region has to offer and enjoys hiking, fishing, and going to the beach with his wife and their two dogs, Perla and Frankie.
